Spotify

Traditional commuting saw a serious decline as working from home gained popularity.

However, people still tune in to podcasts, music, and news each day on Spotify - just not in the car. So with normal commuting at a low, how can Spotify still play a role in the car?

Introducing: Joydrive.

A new way to road trip with your Daily Drive.
Powered by Waze.

How it Works

In the Spotify app, navigate to the Daily Drive page to find the new Joydrive tab.

When you tap on it, you can name your Joydrive and enter your destination in the Waze map function. Spotify will automatically tailor your Daily Drive playlist to the length of your trip.

When you reach your destination, you will receive a shareable graphic highlighting what you listened to and where you went. You can also access all of your previous Joydrives via the home page of the Spotify app.

Just like Spotify’s Wrapped, Joydrives are all about your individuality and range of taste. To introduce Joydrive, we start out with a few definitions, highlighting the scope of podcasts, music, and news all in one playlist.
